What we keep, and why.

If you only browse the feed

Nothing about you is stored on our servers. What you're looking for and the roles you save stay in your own browser (local storage), and you can clear them any time from your browser settings.

If you sign up for the digest

We keep your email address, what you told us you're looking for (roles, skills, location, whether you need visa sponsorship), your time zone so the email arrives at 7:00 your time, and when you confirmed or unsubscribed. We use these only to send your digest.

Emails are sent through Resend, our email provider. Apart from Resend and Anthropic, we don't sell or share your data with anyone, and we don't track you across other sites.

If you prepare applications

We keep the CV you upload as a profile (your name, contact details, experience, education and skills, which you can edit), and the tailored resumes and draft answers we prepare for each role. We don't keep the original file.

To read your CV and tailor it, we send it to Anthropic, which runs the Claude AI model, under terms that don't allow them to train on it. Nothing is ever sent to a company by us: you approve each application and submit it yourself on the company's own form.

If you use the Chrome extension

The extension runs only on hiredearly.com and on Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby job pages. On an application form it fills in your approved answers and resume, and sends the form's questions to HiredEarly so we can draft answers to ones we hadn't seen. It doesn't read other sites or your browsing history, and it never submits a form.

Jobs and companies

Roles come from the public job boards companies publish on Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby. We link to the company's own posting. "Find a person" links are searches on public sites; we don't collect or store anyone's personal data for them.

Unsubscribing and deleting

Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, which stops all emails immediately. To delete your data completely, reply to any of our emails or write to hello@hiredearly.com and we'll remove it within 7 days.
